    • Medical Coverage Help for the Unemployed in Georgia

    Our employment, or our employer, more to the point, is the person who normally furnishes our healthcare coverage. At least this is the case in most households. If your medical coverage was contingent upon your employment, then losing your job meant you lost a lot more than your income, but your means to care for your families health care needs as well.

    Getting new coverage isn’t always possible by normal means. If you’ve lost your health care coverage and are having problems meeting the needs of yourself or your family for health care, there are several other places to look in Georgia.

    While no one likes being the one who has to use such things as the Medicaid programs, they are in place to assist us when we’ve lost coverage.     Don’t let your medical bills go unpaid, and don’t go without the medical care that you need because you can’t afford it. Individual hospitals also have programs to cover those who have difficulty, or can’t pay their bills and in a life threatening situation, the hospitals in most cases are required by law to offer treatment required to make a patient stable enough for admission or transport to another facility.

    Making sure that your health care needs are met is the only way to stay healthy enough to find that new job in Georgia. Get the help you need, when you need it.
